Last night we had a very successful townhall in White Oak at Luciano’s restaurant. The room was packed. The feedback from the crowd was fantastic.

For each event we will recognize our Townhall Star.

In order for each of these townhall events to be a success the most important thing is voter participation. We have seen unbelievable participation at each one of our events. You have seen some of the feedback on our facebook page and we want to begin to recognize the voter who was the most passionate about his or her thoughts on our county.

Thank you to everyone who has participated and to everyone who will continue to participate.

Likes: Low cost of living, school system, various ethnic backgrounds, sports teams.

Dislikes: Redundancies in Govt, high taxes, lack job opportunities, deteriorating infrastructure.

Ideas: Improve transit, eliminate drink tax, improve transit, coordinate services.

Our Saturday townhall events were outstanding. A good crowd in Robinson and another standing room only event in Shaler later in the day.

Voters all across the county continue to rally to Raja’s message of job creation. Voters continue to dismiss the old style of politics in hope for something new and engaging.

Last night we embarked on our ambitious Townhall Tour of Allegheny County. We had a great turnout. With over 100 people at the event the room was packed with enthusiasm for this campaign and for real change in the county.
